It features Maya Marquez in her second ever match against Kandie Cohn, who was nearing her peak skills but on a bit of an off day! Kandie only lasted about 20 minutes before dehydration took her out of commission for the day. Over the next six years I struggled to get Kandie back on the mat with Maya but Kandie had no interest. In the immortal words of Kika Hernandez, "Maya is harsh!"
Fortunately Maya brought her girlfriend Jill down to the Academy and Jill graciously stepped in. Maya made Jill regret her willingness to help out; Jill never came back!
