Visitors to the Barn over the years have been fortunate to witness many exciting fights between women on its premises, but few were as memorable as the one that took place before a huge crowd on August 29, 2010. That was the day two of the best fighters to ever enter the Barn had their long awaited battle there. The women of whom I speak are Michele (whose Yahoo ID was manicmojito) and Claudia (whose Yahoo ID was tinyclaudia84). Michele stood 5'4" tall, weighed in at a well-distributed 125 pounds and had measurements of 34C-24-34. She fought in the Barn 11 times and her record there was 8 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw. Many of Claudia's opponents made the mistake of underestimating the "tiny terror," much to their detriment. Despite the fact she was only 4'11" tall, weighed just 83 pounds and displayed measurements of 32C-22-32, Claudia was a pure hellcat, consistently beating much larger opponents. Her record in the Barn was 9 wins, 4 losses and 3 draws. Claudia and Michele zoomed to the top of the Barn rankings, and it was inevitable that they would fight. The tension was thick when, after several postponements, they finally met to see who was the better woman. The fight was eagerly anticipated and drew one of the biggest group of spectators the Barn has ever hosted. Michele wore a pair of white shorts and a black tank top for the occasion. Claudia entered the Barn in a pair of short black bike shorts and a hot pink sports bra. Both women elected to fight in their bare feet. The fight, which took hours to complete, didn't disappoint anybody. It was a true classic, one of the best ever seen in the Barn. Both Claudia and Michele have since disappeared from Yahoo, a real shame, meaning we will never get to see a rematch of their classic battle. But the log of that amazing battle in the Barn survives and is reproduced here for your enjoyment:
