I've voted for Roberta. She's has some killer legs, and hopefully, she picked up some pointers in her fight against my wife, Maureen.

roberta is a very tough fighter, and has been a great addition to fcf in her first year, I am pulling for her to win her match.

  My heart jumps—just a bit—- at seeing CheerGirl standing there, at the edge of my blanket, partially blocking my sun.  Holding my hand over my eyes as a visor and squinting, I see her simply standing there, smirking, staring down at me.

   “I know,” I offer,  “It takes your brain a minute or so to begin to generate words…”   Nothing.  No retort, no snort,…..no movement. 

   I cautiously get to my feet, not wanting to fall victim to a cheap kick in the face, but she remains motionless.  As I take a step closer, I realize why…

   Really?  A life-size, cardboard cutout?  Jeez, how many trees had to die to make—-this?  Ick! Scanning the beach, I see no one.  Peering down, I note two sets of footprints in the sand, leading up to and away from the cutout.

   Hrmpf!  Nikki and Ewa, no doubt…  ha, ha, girls…..

   But, sensing my contact with the real CheerGirl may be limited—-or non-existent—- this round, I do what I can.  Fishing into my bag, I retrieve my old faithful black Sharpie.  After a few minutes, satisfied with the addition of John Lennon glasses, a Hitler mustache, cigar, tattoos, rivulets of drool dripping from the mouth, and horns, I pack up, hoisting the cutout under my arm, and head back to the FCF resort, to look for a prominent place in which to display my new work of art…

I was wondering if the cardboard cheerleader put up a fight yet? At least you freshened up her makeup with the sharpie!!

Glad you asked!!  As I carry the card-bored cutout of CheerGirl back to FCF, the ocean breeze catches the over-sized head portion, making it flap under my arm awkwardly; alas, that is the extent of the fight she provided in Round 2.

sorry iv'e had to be away for  the last couple of days..rl does intercede sometimes.....so  only some doubt  in one fight as  ivana ko and Roberta  duel to the end.


for each of the ladies reaching the final four....being a phantom fighter will not assure  you of being in the final 2

I didn't realize no showing the round and then running your mouth about how you won without showing up is much of a recipe for success.  But hey . . . if the voting is going to be based on some criteria like M is the coolest person ever (or maybe M has the most accounts on FCF) then I guess either Mish or I will bow down to you in the finals.  Meanwhile, Mish and I are going to have some fun with our fight since we both know how to show up during the poll fight and actually do something entertaining for the forum community.  I suggest all the voters think about that in the final four and the finals.  Im sure M will stroll to victory over Ivana since M is way "cooler" and since Ivana wont actually show up.  I don't think she has posted in these threads in quite some time.
