There's some good, sensible advice here for schoolgirls who might find it difficult to avoid getting into a fight with another girl. Many girls like to wear their hair long these days, and of course that would prove to be a target; there's always hairpulling in a schoolgirl fight. Not always convenient to have it tied back or up in preparation - after all, you might not be anticipating a fight, or might suddenly be forced into one. According to my local press, there was a short skirmish between two fourteen year olds at a nearby school; one girl grabbed the other girl's hair with one hand and punched her in the mouth with the other. It was pretty much over after that.
