How to download google photos into FCF Profile

I'm trying to download some photos of me into my profile and having no success at the moment. What should I do?

Sometimes the site has glitches, but Is it giving you any messages and if so what is the message saying?

I have tried to download photos to my profile page on this forum and I'm finding out that my pics are too big to be download. Is there a better way to shrink it a little bit to fit in my profile.
