Where do old catfighters/wrestlers go?
« on: May 12, 2016, 06:20:02 PM »
In the Dark Age (pre - Internet) connecting with fellow FvF fans was almost impossible.  Actually meeting someone was about easy as taking a taxi to the moon. There were ladies who did meet and compete privately. A twenty year old woman who privately wrestled in say 1970 would now be in her mid 60's, if there were older ladies who wrestled at that time they are now north of 70.

I would like to ask any of the ladies who actively wrestled privately in the 60's, 70's, and 80's, at what age you and your contemporaries stopped having matches without being forced to due to medical reasons.  Another way of asking the question is if you were an active competitor back in those days, so long as you are physically able to, do you still have matches with other mature women? There are Senior Olympics and sports leagues for older people, are there senior catfighters and wrestlers still active in our community?

Excellent question!  Not sure I would have used the word 'old' though!  LOL  One of these ladies might come and beat you up.  I'd especially like to hear from Barb who had the Combative Ladies site a few years ago.  She was the real deal.
