Here is one to start.

For anyone who has read my posts it is not shocker that I liked that fight.  The undefeated champ overpowered and held helpless in a crucifix and punched until ref stoppage.

Here is another one.  This announcer is after my heart.  "She is sitting on her face"

The first bout reminded me a bit of the Rousey - Canadian girl match. Rousey hiptossed her opponent heavily to the mat, grabbed her in a side headlock and pounded away to her unprotected face.

Not sure what fight you are talking about.  She beat Budd a Canadian by armbar but I just rewatched and that did not happen in that fight.  I did not realize that Rousey was fighting at 145 then though.

Alexa Davis. Hard to believe that this is the same woman (Rousey) who got destroyed by Holm.

Thanks Markelani.  I had forgot how that went down.  That might have been Ronda's most impressive performance.  Ronda's standup is not great at defense but she does hit very hard as we saw against Davis and also against Corriea.  Even a great striker like Holly would have lost in a slugfest with Ronda. While I will not argue that Ronda got destroyed, she did hurt Holly with a couple of punches. As we saw in that fight that is not what Holly did. She used great movement and lit Ronda up with mostly straight lefts.  She also used kicks to the legs which was hyperextending Ronda's leg on her charges.  And also Holly is a great athlete and could match up strength wise when Ronda did get a hold of her.  All that being said, Ronda was very close to having the armbar.  MMA is a strange and brutal sport that way as instead of Ronda getting knocked out and now all but retired if she could have pulled that arm in closer, we could still be calling her the GOAT.

Also hard to believe that Davis is the girl that beat Nunes, who now 'appears" unbeatable.

I'm not a big MMA fan but one thing it has going is much more unpredictability than boxing.
So, in a boxing match would you take Rousey or Holm?

Definitely Holly. Unless she decided to go toe to toe with her in a slugfest and then who knows.  Ronda could never achieve Holly's level of footwork, head movement and everything that goes along with boxing.
A good example is when she went toe to toe with Anne Mathis is 1st fight and received one of the worst beatings in female boxing history...

and the 2nd fight where she was on her bike the entire fight and won nearly every round.

I have posted this one before but as it is one of my favorites I will add it to this thread.  Here we have one of the biggest mismatches you could witness.  And what makes it great is that poor April "Lionheart" Debois is really a lionheart in addition to being super sexy.  The problem is that she has no skill and is up against a complete beast in Callie Cutler.  Lucky she did not break her neck on that suplex.  Even after being thrown around like a child when she was in the RNC she did not immediately tap.  That girl has heart.

Good fight.  Obviously the filming was a little off for a while and you two looked so similar.  Did she tap to the armbar?

Great thread and some great matches. Loved the "She is sitting on her face." commentary. Pretty funny.
