Battle of the Bands: Runaways vs Go-Go's

The Runaways were hard rocking band that knew how to rock and party.  The band consisting of Cherrie Currie, Joan Jett, Lita Ford, Jackie Fox and Sandy West are a tough band with a chip on their should and looking to kick the shit out of this new New Wave band that seems to be finding the popular success they lacked.

The Go-Go's represent the new wave on music changing the landscape of the 80's.  Belinda Carlisle, Jane Wiedlin, Gina Schock, Kathy Valentine and Charlotte Caffey start with a reputation of partying prior to being new wave goddesses and don't have time to look back at some hard rock has beens.

The two girl band meet in a closed clubs they were both booked at and the losers have to service the winners in the dressing rooms before and after the show.

Who wins, Hard Rockers or New Wavers

Joan Jett would thrash Belinda Carlisle making her cry like a bitch.

The Go-Go's were a punk band until the year before their breakthrough. Kathy Valentine would thrash everyone else involved by herself. Easy win for the Go-Go's.

Mr Morningside,

TRIVIA QUESTION

What member of the Bangles played with the Runaways?

Michael Steele (bass), but only briefly. Steele was replaced by Jackie Fox.

I liked the music of the Go-Go's better but I think the Runaways would win the fight.

I agree with Jebediah Morningside the winners should take on the Bangles.
