If I had one (constructive) criticism.... I would have made the principal a female, rather than a man, which may have opened up the possibility of a teacher/principal vs parent/student fight later - with either/both parents.

(But you wrote it on commission so THAT may have been one of the requested story elements, so it's a very minor one... if at all!)

yep, principal was specifically to be made male by the buyer
