oh gosh, how are they real? watch rousey, you will see they are real. Most women don't fight like that because you don't see people in a real fight do what they don't know, and don't have as muscle memory for. Rhonda's mother was a judoka and woke her up by putting on a playful armbar. Rousey is the extreme example, but I guarantee you she doesn't *think* about a fight move, anymore that a major league pitcher thinks about how to throw a ball. And she IS a she- how unfeminine! Doesn't she know how to be a real woman?? It is another way to see women as 'less'.
I have had women here say that hair pulling and scratching are the 'natural feminine' ways to fight. BS. that is the ineffective, unskilled way to fight. Armbars, joint locks and chokes are very powerful submission holds that can be dangerous. The first lesson in judo is "how to fall", but the second is responsibility for your opponent. All these holds have to be used only enough to get a tap, and if you have a stubborn opponent you just release them.
Think about it. A strange thing about winning is that the fight action is the fun, but winning stops that fun. I think winning serves as a common goal to organize the action. Fight slower and sensual to be erotic, fight hard and skilled to win a fight. Bite, slap, sequel and roll around to please a man.
