A Real Haunting On SistaFightFlix.COM
In the spirit of Halloween I wanted to share a remarkable find from a recent Flix edit. Often I will re-edit existing footage into a completely new Flix product with all new camera angles/tight shots and content from the original making a completely new product from old footage. Recently while editing a completely new scene from a 2017 shoot I heard what is an unmistakable evp, electronic voice phenomenon. The spirit actually appears to be enjoying the action!
At the shoot, which was filmed in a hotel, there were just the three of us present. Regan Kennedy, Jojo, and myself. As I often do, when filming in a hotel, I often warn the ladies about getting too loud with their grunts and groans. I would hate to have to explain to a responding officer that while it sounds like someone being beat on in our room no actual hotties were harmed during the making of this film. It is at this time you can hear this spirit comment on the fight action. This is 100% unedited and authentic and I only just discovered this audio during a recent re-edit.
Let me set the scene. The clip is 18 seconds long. The evp actually occurs twice in this clip. Once at 2 seconds just behind a comment I make to the ladies about their grunts. Then louder and more clearly at the 13 second mark. At 2 seconds you hear me say, "not too loud, not too loud", just following that you can hear a faint female voice saying a statement that ends in "bitch!". Then more loudly at 13 seconds you can hear the full phrase from this unseen female spirit as it says, "Drop That Bitch!!!!". Amazing!
While I consider my fight choreography to be top notch this is something else entirely. It sounds as if this entity is standing right next to me or to the camera for the camera to catch that audio so clearly! Only us three in the hotel the entire night of the shoot and as well this voice is not any one of ours. The ladies are busy grunting as can be heard in the clip and I try not to talk over too much of my audio so after saying, "not too loud", I just shut up. Check it out:
