Maria Sharapova was defeated in back to back fights much to her own surprise by Caroline Wozniacki. Arrogant though she was she chose not to go back for round 3, keeping her head down hoping it would be forgotten.
Maria then learned that for the last month Stephanie McMahon had been making jokes about it on her wrestling tv programme repeatedly talking about her lack of fighting ability and using her name as a synonym for jobber.
Irate that she was the butt of jokes she decided to go round to the next live showing of Stephanie's tv show and demonstrate to Steph that pro wrestling hadn't prepared her for a fight with a 6ft plus athlete.
Knowing McMahon would look a fool if she backed down or called security, Maria paid someone off and jumped the barricade at the live event when Stephanie was in the ring. Maria advanced upon her without a word and a real fight broke out.
Was Steph put in her place or did Maria end up looking like a jobber?
