Things were made worse when her rival Taylor Swift again crushed her sales with her successive album release gigantically, but finally it was Adele who caused an unexpected stir. Her next album, also released not long after Katy's, reached a staggering sale of 692 000 copies within one week, and Adele began to mock Katy until the the Californian pop princess angrily told her to shut up.
'Fight me and make me shut up if you can, little girl!' Adele replied.
Katy took the challenge: 'I'll fight you in a diner's ladies' room and shove your head down a toilet bowl, you fat cow!' she told Adele.
Adele and Katy will meet in a place kept secret until after their fight takes place. The two women will each bring five female fans along who are encouraged to put the fight on video, and the winner is free to publish her fans' videos of her own victory and her opponents' humiliation.
Adele has chosen to wear a black evening dress for the fight, and Katy decided on a very reveiling black leather dress.
Katy made fun of Adele's choice of outfit: 'So, as usual, you come dressed like a granny. I suppose, there isn't any other style you can wear with that mess you call a "figure", or is there?'
Adele laughed and mocked her rival: 'Well, little Katy, at least I'm taller than you and have got a pair of boobs which make your titties look like pimples. And, wow, Katy, of course - dressed like a discount street whore again...you're so predictable, haha!'
Katy, furious, shot back at Adele: 'You deluded bitch! My gorgeous girls can squash your ugly udders to a pulp! Just try it, bitch!'
