I remember doing similar to this with a girl I wrestled regularly when I was at university.
We had many differences but shared a love of professional wrestling.
After our matches we always had a "loser faces a forfeit" rule and one time after I won I opted to put her in holds we'd seen off the telly to see how painful they really were.
I thought she would tap out of the Boston Crab the earliest, which was the one hold I felt I really knew and was able to put on, but she was quite flexible and was able to survive in it longer than I could hold her in it.
The most effective was similar to this hold in the video but with her arms crossed over under her neck instead (so they were effectively choking her).
