Genesis Rodriguez was who walked out of the room when the three women fought. Now she wanted to watch Nina fight Ruby
She expected to hear from Nina or even ruby about a potential fight against her, but both wanted her to watch them fight.
They were friends and Ruby life changed after losing to Marie Avgeropoulos. Before that Ruby was looking unstoppable and wanted to fight her good friend Nina. Costing her fights and showing up when she wins. It felt like a fight that was destined to be epic then Marie exposed Ruby and Ruby was consoled by Nina.
After that triple threat Ruby cried and asked Nina for this. Nina obliged
Ruby wanted it in an empty MMA training facility. Away from the work out and into the cage. She told Genesis to dress as a ref. Ruby was in first, standing in the middle wearing a tube top and sports bra underneath, Muay Thai shorts. She watched Nina come in wearing all work out gear from her sponsor.
Nina got to the cage entrance “Rules”
“MMA rules and Genesis is here to enforce them … There is no rounds though. Ko or Submission and if its clear the fight is one sided as I think it will be then Genesis can step in to stop the massacre. After its clear to you that I kicked your ass then we are friends again.”
“Ruby, we went back to being friends and we never stopped. You developed an itch and well what happened with Marie. This is rules based this isn’t dirt you hate this is what you want at these fights. It’s the least I could do for you. “
“Win or lose, unless this ends in a draw this is the only fight.”
Nina went to a circle and stretched “IF it’s a draw just let us take a break and then go back at it. It ends here in this cage”
Ruby took off her tube top and began to stretch “Agreed, we end it here and we’ll be friends again after”
“I won the prank war on set, and I’ll win the physical war. I just kind of wish I was the one who showed you up, but Marie did it better than I ever could.”
A tension just filled the cage and Ruby walked over “You don’t talk about her to me ever. She made me her obsession. She made destroying my reputation her life goal.”
“And she did both. I watched her do both now back away or we go right now before we’re stretched and disobey the rules you wanted.”
“This ISNT about MARIE AVGEROPOLOUS”
“Back away let her say start. Calm down because I don’t want you distracted using that as an excuse as to why I beat you.”
Ruby did back away then stopped by Genesis. “Give me a couple seconds to rebalance.”
“Of course. I’ll check Nina for weapons.”
Genesis checked Nina and of course there was no weapons but Genesis wanted this so she could look right at Nina “No rules when its our turn. All tools and you go down.”
“Careful what you ask for Genesis.”
“Oh, I am being as careful as I want to be. I will get another close up look at how good you are and last time…Last time against Ashley on the beach didn’t you lose that fight.”
Nina leaned forward she was more interested in a war with Genesis than a fight with Ruby. “I did but I won’t lose her, and I can’t wait to wreck you.”
Ruby was watching these heads moving in opposite directions and she could see that wonderful ass of Genesis tightening. These two were trash talking they were readying for a war. That rivalry was real hers with Nina was always fake. The body language between them “Genesis you are here as a ref not…”
“I agree Ruby and I really want you to bring a lot out of Nina.” Genesis looked at Nina and smiled. Nina knew what she was saying. Genesis wasn’t hoping for a Ruby win but to see as much from her as possible. Defensively and Offensively
“Hey ruby you know I love you and we both said fuck it lets do this… I got to tell you this one right here wants to see just what I can do. I’m going to show her why I am more athletic than her, why my body is fitter and why I am going to…”
Genesis got in front “I never fully checked her I think she’ll cheat and only one way to check what I need to check.”
Genesis and Nina stared at each other. Words stopped and the two kept staring as hard as they could. Ruby could see it. Neither woman moved they stopped talking. It was getting more intense between the two and all Ruby wanted was this fight, but they wanted each other. Ruby smiled Nina wasn’t focused on her she was going to beat Nina Dobrev.
“Hey Nina. I challenged you to one on one so come on with it. I’ll show you skill beats athletic ability.”
” Ruby, I love you. I think you are a great person but I’m not Marie. I’m motivated right now because you keep finding yourself in my way for no reason. When she beat you that should have been it but then you cost me the one fight I truly want and question, I can win. You cost me two fights against that blonde bitch Kara. I had forgiven not forgotten. Now you pay for all of it and if you want more after then I won’t stop with you until it is stopped with you.”
“Stop blaming me, I’m here to prove myself against the ego.” Ruby threw punches and Nina stayed put and just moved her head away then after five swings and misses then Nina pivoted away and slapped Ruby in the back of the head.
“You have no idea why you’re here, but I’ll teach you why.”
Ruby tried a blind side kick it got caught and Nina swept the other leg sending Ruby down. Nina walked away and took a glance at Genesis.
Nina kept her hands down poked her head in watched Ruby and when Ruby threw her punch this time Nina countered moving her head and snapping a jab to the belly then a shovel hook with the right and right kick to the thigh switch up to a left kick to the ribs.
Nina then pivoted away and was out of distance. She circled around the fighting area and stared at Ruby who was struggling. Ruby was also being helped by Genesis who kept stealing glances over at Nina.
“You playing with me Nina.” Ruby tightened her boxing stance, and Nina was still hands down and just to show what she was doing. Nina fired three jabs, two to measure distance and into a block of Ruby then a third lower into the chest.
Nina closed the distance let Ruby get ready to throw and Nina hit a oblique kick to the inside of Rubys knee nearly collapsing Ruby “That’s a garbage move.” Genesis let out as Nina hit a quick left hook dropping Ruby.
“Thought you were going to show me what was up… So, get up and show me.”
Ruby got up “You had a good start but there’s more to a fight.” Left hook whipping Rubys head then a right hook. Then a spin and a kick to the stomach dropping Ruby again
“You can obviously end this whenever you like. So, what is your point here?”
Ruby got up but backed away and tried to regroup “She doesn’t have a point. She showed me enough that I know what to do to get a win.”
“Nina, she does not get this. So, end the fight and be done with it.”
“I’ve shown you enough to want this fight one on one. Ruby was mad came in and next thing she knew Nina was down and rolling.
Nina went from Iwamura roll and executed it to what she wanted. She trapped one of Rubys legs and was twisting it upward. Nina applied a twister submission with all of Ruby trapped and twisted in different directions. Every muscle of Ruby rose was twisted and pulled, they were being torn, and the pain was to much for Ruby, but Nina didn’t want the tap out which was why she trapped the arms.
Nina didn’t want a tap out or a surrender. She had both arms trapped and was pushing the upper and lower jaw in opposite directions. When she felt tears on her hands and wrists, she just got her thumb under the nose “Say it Ruby… Say everything. Kara needed your help; you can’t beat me and apologize to Genesis for interfering in our one on one.”
“Please stop. I lost just AIEEEE LET GO” Ruby never knew pain like this. She had semi pro fights and what Nina just did made her feel like a weak pathetic unathletic too small or to tall actress who can’t do anything.”
“AND!!!”
“Seriously Nina, its over but you need her to say it so say it. I promise you she lets go when you say it.”
“Please make her stop… please.” Ruby was crying and Nina added more pressure. Genesis wasn’t stopping so Ruby had to say it “I should not have stepped in on your fight. I did open the door when Kara beat Nina, I did help Kara last time. Nina is the Queen. It was just a prank war I want to be Ninas friend. Please…” Nina let her go and stood up to go face to face with Genesis Rodriguez
“Beat Kara Killmer and then its us. You did that to her… Try it with me.” Genesis said and Nina nodded and walked away. “You get her a fight with Kara you owe us both that.” Genesis said to a humiliated Ruby Rose.
