Friday night, the night after pay day. Dani’s was pretty full. A local band playing some rock in the corner. Some were dancing, most drinking. That’s when SHE walked in. tall brunette 5’10 or 5’11. She was with 2 guys. Nobody had seen them before. She wore what looked like an expensive pair of jeans and a button down blouse. The two men wore slacks, not jeans and polo shirts. They stood out like a sore thumb in this crowd. Dani took special notice of them…she knew there would be trouble tonight.
The trio ordered drinks, whiskey for the men and a diet Coke for her. Next round same thing. Either she’s their designated driver or… She came up for the third round of drinks, same order. “My name is Roxanne. I want to drink for free tonight.” Roxanne stated. “Do you know? So how do you want to do this?” Dani replied.
