Old fight story

Any help?? Im looking for an old fight story i may have read I n here or somewhere else I think. It involves two neighbors talking in the street one evening. One of the neighbors kid does something to the others dog and tension started. She took the dog home and went back other to the neighbors house. She sent the kids downstairs and they fought from the doorway to the kitchen.
