Due to the fact that I have received minimal feedback on the challenge, the process, and very minimal interest in contributing funds to make the matches happen, I am going to put the challenge on hold for the foreseeable future.

Shocked, never saw that one coming.

Hi Johnny,

Just for discussion purposes here, as I'm not challenging your validity, but I am curious as to why it would cost $4000 to put a match together featuring Tanya Danielle vs Jewell Marceau. I understand if you don't wish to publicize any of the financial information, but those two ladies must be demanding quite a bit more to wrestle than many of the top competitive female wrestlers in the industry.

It doesn't particularly surprise me that you didn't get 160 people to throw down funds to watch those two ladies wrestle. They are both quite attractive, but there are a plethora of attractive female wrestlers that fans can see in matches, and they don't command quite that much money to wrestle in those matches either. So fans that like to see attractive females wrestle have other products to purchase, many of which have already been produced. On the other hand, there are fans that want to see attractive females, or even females that aren't considered "hot" (although I don't know of any one person that would be qualified to make that decision for anyone else) in competitive matches in which the ladies actually have real competitive wrestling skills. To the best of my knowledge, I wouldn't consider Jewel or Tanya to be the proverbial "real deal", so I would venture to guess that those fans typically would not be interested.

However, there are also fans that no doubt like to see ladies that AREN'T very skilled go at it. I'm not trying to make the call as to what matches are better, as that is naturally up to the individual. I'm just curious as to why the expense is so high to produce the product.

I would also be curious to hear what other producers have to offer in regard to this. In all fairness to you Johnny, I would have thought that the match would have been a go as both of those ladies are well known, I just think your expenses were too high to make it happen, and I'm sure the work you put into setting it up has caused you more than a bit of frustration.

Thanks,
Joe
