Wrestling fetish in Nick Broomfield's 'Fetishes' documentary

I was wondering if anyone's seen the Nick Broomfield documentary Fetishes?

http://embed.snagfilms.com/films/title/fetishes

As I hoped for, part of the film explored the wrestling fetish. Well, I say explored, more like ran it in a negative light for all about three minutes.

You can't blame Broomfield for it, mind. The section appears 36 minutes in to show a mixed wrestling session involving a client at a fetish parlour. Everything seems cordial and friendly until the client gets a little rough during the session and whispers "hey, I want a catfight" to his opponent.

Dramatic enough to include in the final edit, but perhaps not so good for fans of the wrestling fetish as it doesn't exactly argue the case for being a fun activity enjoyed by normal people!

What do you think?

How are other fetishes portrayed? Just curious if they all get a bad name in this or is wrestling the odd one out?
https://megforrest.blogspot.com/ used to post stuff there. You will have to log into goggle to see it

The biggest fakes here are those posing as humans.

Death will not be a tragedy but an inconvenience for others.

Valid point, Meg.

I'll admit, I only tuned in for the bit that covered about wrestling. Will have to watch the rest in full to see how it goes, a very valid point as you say.

I don't know. I expected something more that validates it all, was disappointed to see how it played out.

If anything, I guess it's a good example of how fetishes are perceived by enthusiasts and those who practice it for real, and the expectations that follow. There's always someone who takes it all a bit more seriously than others might.
