I agree.  A poll fight is far more interesting when the participants actually, well, participate.  As to the voting, it seems very apparent from the structure of the poll that the first question is the only vote that should decide the battle.  The 'who's sexier' vote is gravy and shouldn't have any bearing on the actual winner of the match. In any event, if someone actually discourages participation from her opponent it makes me far less likely to care about the result of future polls she's involved in.  Just my two cents.
