Thanks, Bear, for bringing back some good old memories!

Seeing two girls fight, at least on the old TV shows and movies, was sexually exciting to me, and I'm not sure why.  I'm no psychologist/psychiatrist, but I think the close body-to-body fighting was what really turned me on.  To me, there's just something very arousing about seeing two women in close breast-to-breast, body-to-body contact.  And yes, I'm also aroused seeing vids of lesbians engaged in sex.  But when I was a kid, I had no clue about lesbianism, or sex for that matter.

I may have mentioned this before in some forum on this site, but I remember seeing a video of an interview being done with a female psychologist about why girl fights were so popular.  One of the things the psychologist mentioned, was the close body contact between women when they fight.  She said that in some cases, seeing women fight and wrestle is not unlike seeing women engaged in sex.  I will try to locate that old interview, and if I do, I'll post it here.  But it must have been 10 or so years ago, so it's probably long gone.

I never put much stock into anything that a female psychologist says about male psychology, or in what a male psychologist says about female psychology.  Besides, psychology is most unscientific science of all the sciences.

In my flawless self-analysis I've concluded that why fvf wrestling does it for me is because I believe that a woman who is all right with close-quarter physical competition would be great in bed.  I have no proof of that such is the case, but it's what I like to think.  Hence, the fantasy.  It's as simple as that.

Mine mirrors most of these as well. The apartment wrestling in the mags started it and it grew from there.  have never liked the bloody side, just the rest of the hairpulling etc.  VERY repressed home life and this was "acceptable" to one parent at least.

I've tried to figure out the "why" of catfighting being such a sexual turn-on to me. Maybe - can't speak for anyone else on this - it's the unattainability of a woman that makes me enjoy seeing another female take her down. I mean, in high school we all fantasized about the hot cheerleaders and homecoming queens. For me that somehow turned into seeing them getting their butts kicked by less attractive girls.
So is it something like revenge? In that the prettiest girls would have nothing to do with me so imagining them beaten and humiliated by another woman is just a substitute for me beating them? I have loved catfights for so long I have pretty much given up worrying about the reason but I do wonder. A bit, now and then. Anyone have any other answers?

Only issue I have with your theory, Sandman, is that afterwards, I'm far more attracted to the winner.

Ariel X, who is a lesbian, said in an interview once that if two women fight over her, she's going home wih the winner.
