Katy Perry (30) has challenged Katey Sagal (61) to a rematch of the less girly kind: Approaching her with determination during a public event, she made clear to Sagal that she's not prepared to resign herself to the previous defeat she suffered at her hands, concluding that she wants a follow up confrontation in shape of a kickboxing match in a cage.
Surrounded by tabloid press reporters taking note of Perry's unexpected demand, Sagal had no choice but accepting the challenge in order to protect her reputation - a circumstance Katy Perry obviously counted on.
An eye witness reported: 'Katey Sagal stepped up to Katy Perry and told her with derision, "Kickboxing matches aren't done in cages, dearie...In cages we do no rules slaughter orgies, the kind in which I'd squash you to a messy, ugly pulp. But don't we all know your brain power is not exactly up to average standards, we must allow you a bit of confusion about most things."
Katy Perry was of course furious at Sagal insulting her intelligence; and quick to enlighten her foe, "You arrogant, ugly old hag!...Well, in our case, grandma, there will be no rules, no ref - just the two of us, in the cage, and right there and then I'll destroy each single one of your old age brittle bones. There won't be any hair pulling, no boob squishing, no face scratching - but simply me punching and kicking the guts out of you until you wish you'd never met me, wish you'd never even heard of me."'
The day arrives when these two fighters, each driven by hate and an overpowering urge to prove to be the better woman, face each other, enclosed by the cage's grids...
