Catfights in video games...
« on: January 30, 2015, 05:08:54 AM »
I realize there are a few posts on this topic already but the best one I found was from 2008, so I'm starting a new one.
It seems to me the WWE game franchise has steadily declined in the eyes of the catfight fan. The models looked better in 2009 and the
play style hasn't improved much either. The DOA series continue and are actually moving to the PC in a few months; check steam. Those games
are really more martial arts style than catfighting, very little grappling at all.

I did come across this recently:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mlHJwZF-78. It's a mixxxxme inside a Yakuza game that might never leave Japan.
Grand theft Auto online is about to reach the PC which could be promising.

Any one have any other info?

Well there's of course the Rumble Roses series which was pretty excellent. There's also a game called Girl Fight that I've seen recently on the Playstation store (if you own a PS3). No idea if it's any good

Not quite what the OP asked for, but Marvel Heroes 2015 (a free to play MMO on Steam) has quite a few female heroes and a few female villains.  And they have put in at least one line of environmental dialogue referencing a catfight (between Rogue and Black Cat--who is currently a villain but will become a playable hero later this year).
