KATHY BRIGMAN VS BETSY KANE
Kathy Brigman finally managed to get hold of her manager. She had heard for days of the total demolition of a young fighter and she wanted to know who did it and if she could get a fight with her.
“What is it, Kathy? I’m busy.” Ron Goldman said, his voice impatient and coarse.
“Hello to you too, Ron. Fuck busy, I want to know who won that fight the other night at the club.” She felt desperate to know.
“Ahha, another one heard eh. Alright, yeah, it was a real bloodbath apparently. From what I hear this older bird left this kid fucked up and retired her from the game. What you wanna know for?”
“I want her and me in the ring, Who else has she fought?” Kathy asked.
“That was her first fight.” Ron replied.
Kathy couldn’t believe it. “Fuck off, you’re winding me up.”
“No, and she wasn’t a ringer either, first fight and fresh from the suburbs. From what I gather she lost her job and needed some money fast.”
“Who referred her?” Kathy was getting excited.
Hesitantly, Ron waited a few seconds. “It was Janice. It was your sister in law, Kathy. Sorry to have to be the one to tell you.” Ron waited for the backlash.
“That fucking cxnt, I will smash her face in. What she did to my baby brother, he still ain’t right.” Kathy was raging.
“look, you want me to set it up?” Ron drummed his fingers on his desk.
“Yeah, do it. I am gonna retire this cxnt and then I am goin’ after Janice. I’ll kill both of em’.” Janice clicked off the call.
She banged her fists on top of the kitchen surface. Janice had been in a long relationship with her brother. He had come in early from work to find his woman in a sex sandwich with two bull dykes. He had walked out and gone straight to the garage and tried to kill himself. Only a passerby had intervened. Janice hadn’t even bothered to go and check on him but continued to get thoroughly shagged and tongue fucked by the women on either side of her.

Betsy had invested some of the twenty thousand pounds in some gym equipment. A boxing heavy bag, some kettlebells for strength training and some other stuff. She had given Janice two thousand for the referall or introduction.
She smiled when she thought of the brutal number she had done on the young woman. She had got a few cuts and nice black eye but that was nothing to what she did to Tank Johnson. Now the girl never wanted to fight again. Serves her right for what she did to other girls.
She punched the bag and worked up a decent sweat. The phone rang…she stopped and walked over to pick it up.
Janice’s name on the screen.
“Hello?” She said.
“You ready to go again?” Janice said.
“Already?” She wiped her chest with a towel.
“Yeah, four days from now. You’re opponent’s a bit older, around the same age as you and no kid. I warn you, this one’s been around and she knows a few dirty tricks.” Janice said.
“You know her?”
“Yeah, it’s Kathy.”
Betsy couldn’t believe it. “Your psycho sister in law?”
“Ex-sister in law.” Janice corrected.
“Whatever. Fuck, she is one nasty bitch.” Betsy took a deep breath, this was serious stuff. Kathy had bounced a woman’s head off a wall until she went into a coma. All for bumping into her in a nightclub. She had got six years and was released two years ago. She had been fighting ever since. She was undefeated. 17 - 0 - 0 with fifteen knockouts and two critical submissions - she snapped the legs of the last two in a brutal MMA type hold, that was her new speciality finisher. “If they can’t walk or stand, they can’t fight.”
“Alright, sign me up.” Betsy said.
“Already have.” Janice said, hesitantly.
“What if I had said no?” Betsy asked.
“Then I’d have to fight her.” Janice replied.
“You? Fuck off, that ain’t gonna happen.” Betsy laughed.
“It will if you lose.” Janice sounded scared.
“What? What do you mean?
“If you lose or back out then I will have to step in that ring with her. Those are the special conditions of the match.”
“That is insane. How come I can’t state conditions?”
“Because you need to fight ten fights before you can start calling the odds. Tradition.” Janice said.
“Fine, I’ll save your ass.” Betsy said.
“Please, I need you to. If I go into that ring, I won’t be coming out alive. She wants to kill me and she will.”
“No pressure then. I’ll call you tomorrow, relax, I’ll deal with her and then you owe me.” Betsy clicked off the call. This was high pressure stakes, this was the big time and no fucking mistake….what if she lost? She thought. She started to work on the bag again, she needed to focus…
