I am a new member who has been fooling around writing my first story.  I was very turned on by what happened in the Ronda Rousey v Holly Holm fight and was working on a follow up fact based fiction of the aftermath, and the story leading up to the rematch.  Would this be a place to post that and get feedback.  I am not a great writer but have a perverted mind.

Thanks Ginny. Also, like I said my writing is not on par with the other writers and I do not want to embarrass myself or upset anyone. Are very amateur writers welcome?

Much of the writing here is terrible, you can't possibly be too bad. You're already a more polished writer just in how you asked about posting your story. Do the basic things that make it readable, like paragraph breaks and basic punctuation, and you'll be better than half the board already.

1. Ignore Leroy. He is a known troll and a boil on the ass of good writing everywhere.

2. The only way you learn is by writing and getting feedback. My suggestion is use a word processing program for spelling and formatting versus editing on the go. Also if the story is saved as a Word document you have it for later viewing and revision. I would then cut and paste your story to your story post here but...

3. Use the preview option, right beside the post button below. If you hit that and look above your post you will see a preview of how the story will look on the site. Many times spacing won't copy correctly and you will have to adjust the post.

4. This is for fun not the Nobel Prize. When it feels like work or torture it is time to take a break.
