What was Festelle. And what is it now?
« on: March 12, 2016, 10:48:22 PM »
There are always longtime members who has knowledge in History. Therefor I ask if someone can tell me a bit of Festelle. When they actually has there glory days, and if they still arrange events. Or is it just this homepage with old movies left? And what is TPC? Is that something coming out from Festelle?

Greetings

Festelle and TPC were 2 seperate companies, however they used to combine talent for tournaments held in London back in the 90s.    They did stop doing this as there owners had there own preferences when it came to female combat.  (Ithink)   TPC prefered there girls to fight whilst covered and festelle prefered topless action.    When the 2 companies split, festelle became more of a video company and started selling other companies work, especially from crystal and also produced more erotic/straddle types of matches.
Sorry but this is about all i can really recall.

Wow from the eightes. Long time has gone. Well I remember Lisa-Marie was one of the fighters in TPC. She fights topless in USA against some girls and did well. Luna Winter was another one. I think she fought for both companies. in a Festelle productionThen we have the black Shelly and Ruby. The later one have some fun destroyed a polish girl

I don't understand what Festelle is now and I would guess is just maybe someone cashing in on the former site.
But back in the day late 1980's to 1990's they produced the best real wrestling type girls fights from the UK mostly filmed in front of a real audience ( mostly old perv men ,Lol ) actually some of these fights turned into real catfights where the girls would loose the temper ( which I loved) LOL
Anyway the most import thing for me they were the agents for Crystal video magazines that sold them to the UK, but bloody expensive like £50 for a VHS video back in 1990's LOL

Festelle was the cutting edge back in the day.  always got a kick out of one older spectator who would always shout encouragement to his favorite.  referee jeff was a classic. they had some great matches.

If we have any previous guest of the event which was held this man might tell us about the premises they wrestled in.There seems to vary, boxing room, bar, gym, someone's living room, theater and abandoned temperance lodge.
Moreover, I believe that the classical storyteller Ajax visited these events.

I have been lucky to attend several Festelle meeting. The first (about 89) was when it was run by the two Phils. After the split attended one meeting in Norfolk which was organised by the Wisc and TPC Phil, and then several organised by the Phil who kept the name Festelle (the last about 95).  Festelle was the one I favoured because they advertised in magazines for women to wrestle, no experience necessary. Two novices wrestling for the first time provided for some interesting contests.  Some of the matches were sporting but others had real needle. Once women commit to wrestle winning is the thing and hair pulling was not uncommon and more over, generally allowed.
The meeting were held in the function room over public houses.  A disadvantage of advertising is that they were never sure who would turn up.  I am not a purist wrestling fan and although I would never wish to see a lady hurt I love to watch two women going at it. Also my preference is for ordinary women tussling rather than models.
At the first meeting  saw Susan Strong beaten by Maggie Jennings. Both wearing swimming costumes it was exciting because it was the first women I had seen wrestling competitively but after attending later events I realised that for me Susan and Maggie had too much skill.  Anita and Danii were always thrilling to watch as they were always ready to rough it up, Anita particulary.
Although Festelle had one lady who was 39, it is a regret that more mature ladies were not recruited. I am sure DWW would have had no trouble doing this.  I wonder if Anita would come and fight now?
I would be glad to be messaged by any others who attended these events to exchange views.

There was something about Angela Scott that I found so sexy.  She seemed to defeat most girls she went up against.  Kind of reminds me of Melanie of Dww.  Would have loved to see those 2 fight each other.
right. good choice. yes angela scott was always furious when it came to fighting. even bigger girls often didn t appear to be an obstacle for her. melanie from dww was hell of sexy , too. i likes her also in oil fights and would have loved to see her mudwrestling
I wish each and every day would start with a catfight in my flat

I only saw Angela Scott and Ria on video. Angel was very sexy because she took her matches very seriously. Ria was fascinating because she was mature and German.  had one tape which had six women competing. The fact that they were different nationalities made it somehow exotic and also Ria wrestled another lady from Germany on it.   also remember a beatiful oriental girl wrestle a girl who  believe was a nurse. The oriental girl had done something dubious and the nurse took exception to it and it got serious, the referee stepping in to say no fighting.  Another memorable match was between a lady called Brenda and a French girl. Brenda had a short fuse and this match also saw both women kicking each other but Brenda was the main aggressor. I believe that Brenda and Anita had agreed that they should never be matched against each other. what a fight that would have been.
