My Magnum Opus of Questions
« on: June 27, 2016, 04:20:32 AM »
So I've been into this catfighting/wrestling fetish for over 13 years (probably longer, I just never understood it until then). But until I joined this forum, I never knew there was communities out there like Holly's old boards, Barb's boards, etc. so I missed out on a lot of things I guess and let's face it, while there are some good companies still around, it's not like it used to be when Carolina Catfights, Academy Wrestling, and stuff used to produce new content all the time. It always amazed me how much people seemed to know too about behind the scenes stuff, like how Barbara and Eva from dww were recruited and found they could make more money wrestling than their families made doing normal jobs. So I guess this is a list of questions I've had for awhile but never knew where to ask. Any help in answering these would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

How did Academy Wrestling start? Did Bobbie Boudreau work anywhere else/ do any modeling and what did she do in real life? Why did she stop wrestling? Was Bianca really a firefighter? What fire Dept was she at (I'm an EMT so it's hot knowing someone in this kind of work)? What about Jessica Moreno and Cori Cortez or Rose madiera? What happened to Kidde? She seemed to enjoy it, but she did two videos so far apart that she changed a bit. Anyone know what happened or anything?

How did Carolina Catfights start up and why did they stop producing movies?

Why did model fight disappear?

Does anyone know why Holly from catfighting Angels disappeared for those few years?

What was California supreme? Was it real or fantasy style?

Why did Barbara and Luzia from DWW stop wrestling?

Where did C and B video go? What other online companies were there that were good and had an online presence? Do adult stores (I've never been in one before) have female wrestling/catfighting videos? Did anyone ever get any of the videos from bikiniwrestling.com? Does sexyfighters.com still produce new stuff? Is it real/worth while? I remember awhile ago seeing clips, but now they have nothing but anime drawings on their site.

I think that's it for now. If I think of any others, I'll add them.

California Supreme was fantasy style.  But in 2 instances (early Belinda Belle, and Carla vs Tesla in "Violent Grudge"), it was so well done that it was better than real.

"Violent Grudge" was from California Wildcats, not California Supreme. California Supreme was mostly cartoon fights.  Golden Girls with Roslyn Royce and Triumph Studios were the big "staged" fight producers. Lots of bikini models in scripted wrestling matches.

Most of the companies folded because they weren't making enough money, just like most of the newer companies come and go because no one wants to pay for anything.

I imagine pirating is an issue as well.  It's gotta be hard to make money when as soon as you sell a tape, the next thing ya know some douche uploaded it anonymously and it's all over the Internet free for the taking.   I bought just about every topless boxing tape Greg (L&L) ever made.  Now, I can find them all on places like pornhub/xhamster/and on and on.  Sucks for the producers as there are SO many places to upload stuff that's it's gotta be damn near impossible to monitor them all.   These people lay out money to pay the women who fight, and do the production, packaging, etc .... and then "customers" steal from them by downloading a 'free' copy.  It's really a wonder how anybody stays in business, let alone produces new material.

Plus, hundreds of YouTube fights, WMMA and street-style, are available for free.

Not to be a know-it-all, but California Supreme (and its sister production, Bellstone) issued hundreds of videos back in the late 70s early 80s; sort of scripted, but a lot of it was pretty real wrestling; they also re-issued a lot of old time fights and European fights under their label, and some mixed fighting (yuck!). What's most interesting about them is that they seem to have been a launching pad for a huge number of women who went on to perform for other companies, and had them fighting (often nude!) when they were very young - just some of their performers include Robin (from "Les Femme Fatales"), Pam Manning, Jasae, Francesa Le, the late Kelli Thomas, the late Santana, Crystal White, Julie Winchester, Quisha, Lisa Marie, "Raven" (the tall slender brunette in Cal Wildcats' "Carnies and Christians") and many others- You can find some of their offerings posted around the web; the most prevalent seems to be an early, all nude match between Kelli and Francesca (NOT the same as the "genesis video" match with the same girls). I've seen maybe 30-40 of their fights; some good, some pretty lame; some of the girls were beautiful, some not so much - and a handful of really great fights, where the girls were beautiful, nude, athletic, evenly matched, and seemed to be really into it!
