buddy request

A little advise please? I just got an email for a buddy request from someone but I always like to be cautious about answering such emails. So what is the protocol for either finding out who the person is or whether he or she is a real member? I want to be safe and not sorry. Thanks

A buddy request should be found on your profile. The email is jsut a notification.

Go to your profile. Modify profile tab on the top left, then Buddy/Ignore List then Edit buddies. All requests should be on the bottom to accept or deny.
