Looks like this was a set of pictures from the successful British photojournalist magazine "Picture Post" from 13th March 1954.

If there is anymore to that scenario in Picture Post, I was unable to find it.  It took me awhile to track down what I did.  Maybe some of our UK members can track it down and post if there is anymore to that story pictorial.
