They used to be best friends and study together until Karen narrowly beat Mary to top of class. Mary thinks Karen withheld learning material from her and challenges her to a catfight, as she seeks revenge. Karen accepts, as she doesn't feel threatened, knowing she was always better at sports. However, Karen is rather shy and doesn't fully understand just how driven Mary is to win this
