Women with Diabetes or Insulin Pump
« on: March 29, 2018, 06:52:16 PM »
Hello again,

I have a question for the group.  For background, see my previous post at https://www.freecatfights.com/forums/index.php?topic=71674.0.

I recently met a lady I like, we are very compatible and into a lot of the same things.  She's into traditional gender roles and views her role as doing anything to please her partner.  I have explained my interested in female fighting to her, to which she says she'll try anything once.  I care very much for her health and safety though.  She is type 1 diabetes and wears an insulin pump.

My question here: does anyone know of someone with diabetes (or such an apparatus) who has done or been in a catfight or wresting match?  How did (or would) that work out?

My youngest son is a diabetic has been since 16 months old, best I can tell you is if she is going to exert herself and sweat a lot , it’s a good idea to have plenty of power axe zero or gator axe on hand to revive electrolytes, and since she should remove her pump so the pod or tubing is not mistakenly pulled out, it is a safe practice to bring her blood sugar higher than her goal target blood sugar which should be between 70 and 120, it is easier to burn off the extra sugars doing anything rigorous then it is to raise a blood sugar mostly cause even after she stops the exertion her body will still burn off sugar ( like cooking just cause it’s out of an oven doesn’t mean the cooking has stopped, when the match is done and she’s starting to relax get an accurate blood sugar off her meter, and allow her to adjust if she needs insulin or not via the reconnected pump, and let her drink the gator aid she will need it more than water. Once your both satisfied she’s stable then water and maybe a protein. Shake or bar , hope this helps and lots of luck
