UK Catfight Tournament Round 12
« on: April 05, 2010, 08:33:19 PM »
Liz McClarnon faces a tough Nancy Sorrell on her way to keep the unbeaten record alive while Emma Bunton has a much easier challenge with Roxanne Pallett who ended her losing streak by beating Andrea Corr last time around. The blonde Spice Girl still is the odds-on favourite to destroy the petite brunette.

Elsewhere Geri Halliwell wants to make amends for the loss to Emma Bunton as she faces Kate Beckinsale while Catherine Zeta-Jones also looks to find winning ways again and goes a slight favourite against out-of-form in recent times Naomi Watts.

Two fights with sheer anger and aggression written all over come next as Victoria Beckham wants to destroy Rachel Stevens and take a revenge after a shocking upset to Jenny Frost last time around while the blonde Atomic Kitten takes on former bandmate Heidi Range who jumped ship to Sugababes few years ago and has been considered a traitor by Frost ever since. Jenny better look out though as Heidi ended a losing run in her last fight vs Rachel Stevens and shouldn't be ranked as outsider in this one.

Finally Gemma Atkinson is looking good to trash the unpredictable but very fesity Dannii Minogue while Liz Hurley comes in as heavy favourite against the lacklustre Andrea Corr.

looks like Liz faces trouble against Nancy Sorrell. and poor poor Roxanne Pallett is facing Emma Bunton. she doesn't stand a chance against the curvy blonde and Emma will be flying high after having just defeated her bandmate Geri Halliwell in the former round

and looks like the usual cheating is going on. notice how the votes against Geri and Victoria and for Liz are equal. I bet it's the sad tosser who's running the poll who's rigging the votes. last time he stopped the vote prior to the date to get the result he wanted. what a loser

This poll has only a few hours to run. Things could change in a few fights. My comments will be two-fold - what I originally thought and what is happening now. On a side now, I like that Vasago has listed the won/loss record and current position with the pictures. I shall have to start doing that in my polls. Good idea.

Liz McClarnon vs Nancy Sorrell - Two well matched fighters with winning records, Liz's being perfect so far. Thought this would be a close fight and could go either way. So far Liz has shown why she is undefeated, finding a way to win against equally qualified opponents. Nancy has come back before and there is still a slim change for her to do it but Liz seems to be having the greater stamina.

Victoria Beckham vs Rachel Stevens - Both fighters have not-so-great records. Thought Rachel would take a close fight because Victoria seems overconfident, spurred on by the large number of Spice Girls fans. Rachel would just want it more. As of now Rachel is having an easier time with Victoria than I expected. Victoria shortened her hair for this fight but there seems to be enough for Rachel to toss her around by what is there. Oh yes, Rachel decided to go blonde for this fight and that seems to have gotten her more support.

Kate Beckinsale vs Geri Halliwell - Even though Kate has 5" on Geri I thought the smaller woman would pull this one off. Despite her sweet face Geri can be rather nasty at times. Kate seems to be too much of a ladylike sweetheart. Geri's winning record has had to result from her being tough, given her small stature. Kate has good size but her record is not as good as Geri's. I think if she was meaner she could be leading this tournament. Well, it seems that Kate is working Geri over. Apparently Geri has pissed her off and Kate is venting her anger on her. Future fighters had better watch out if Kate turns mean.

Emma Button vs Roanne Pallett - If Geri's record results from being tough than what does that say about Emma? It says she has fighting skills as well as being mentally tough. I didn't think Roxanne stood a chance in this one unless Emma let up on a smaller opponent. Well Emma didn't let up just because she has a smaller opponent. She has taken just about everyone's punching bag and used her to hone her punching and kicking skills. Roxanne is praying this fight ends soon as Emma continues to punch, kick, and toss her around until the end.

Gemma Atkinson vs Dannii Minogue - Dannii is a favorite performer of mine but at 4'2" vs Gemma's 5'9" i thought she wold be fodder for Gemma. Dannii's only chance seemed to be her getting inside and close to Gemma where she would work her body and breasts over with her fists and claws. Gemma was smart enough to not let this happen. She picked Dannii up on her shoulders, spun her around and around, then slammed her to the floor on her back. That took all the wind and the fight out of the feisty Dannii.

Heidi Range vs Jenny Frost - I thought Jenny would be able to use her size to sit on Heidi and ride her face for the win. . Fut they locked up in a hair pulling contest, each sinking both hands around long blonde locks. Jenny seemed less able to withstand the pain and lost concentration. Heidi got her down on her back and is now bouncing on her chest.  It doesn't look good for Jenny although there is still a slim chance she could reverse positions and take Heidi. But I think Heidi will ride out Jenny for the victory once she gets her pussy on Jenn's face.

Catherine Zeta-Jones vs Naomi Watts - have to agree with barbosa that this is the hottest pair in this round. I also thought that Naomi would be too weak for Catherine, who, unlike Kate, combines nastiness with strength and good size. Naomi is a scraper but lacks the great skill needed to take Catherine the bigger Catherine. Surprisingly Naomi has to be given credit for giving Catherine everything she can handle. It is the closest fight so far and Naomi has a chance to put Catherine on her ass if Catherine gets careless.

Andrea Corr vs  Elizabeth Hurley - I must admit that Elizabeth was one of my picks to have a chance at winning this tournament. She has good size and a tough fighting attitude in my opinion. Her record has been a disappointment. Andrea has been THE PUNCHING BAG for all her opponents. I looked for Elizabeth to take out her frustration  on the over matched Andrea. This is just what Elizabeth has done. I think she has visualized the faces of all those who beat her in the past as she slams Andrea's nose, mouth and eyes over and over again with her great reach advantage. Someone should throw in the trowel to have mercy on poor Andrea.

nobody should ever vote for danni minogue or andrea corr in any fight, its supposed to be a UK tournament but they aint even British, lol. sorry if this has been covered before, lol

Yes this has been covered before. Dannii is Australian. Andrea was born in Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland. OK, so technically Dundalk is in the Republic of Ireland (aka Irish Free State). .  With the sun rapidly settling on the British Empire I don't think it is too much of a stretch to include her in this poll.  My suggestion, quit ragging on Vasago and come up with your own UK tournament if you don't like including them.

There is at least one other Aussie in the poll that you didn't mention. Look at it this way, Aussies love nothing better than beating up POMS unless it is beating up the All Blacks (New Zealand rugby team) and this is their chance.
