Personally, I think having last year's queen lose in the first round would be really underwhelming, buuut that's just me.

To be honest, I don't think it would be any more underwhelming then having the runner-up from last year's tournament lose in the first round. It's a tricky match-up and issue that I am sure the tournament organizers are aware of. Either way, I'm sure it'll end up being a very exciting tournament and we'll be looking forward to seeing what happens with it. Hopefully it turns out to be just as successful as last year!

Now that I've a working computer and a (semi) stable internet connection again, I'd have liked to try tackle one of the matches to get back into writing before resuming my (many) other pending works, but the match-ups I was interested in are already taken.

Perhaps I can pick them up in the following round.
