An Old Man's Reflection, by Catwriter

An Old Man’s reflection
This is not a catfight story but rather an old fellow’s thoughts of traveling the catfight highway.  My first experience as a young man was witnessing a short but intense wrestle between two women at a farm we were visiting when I was 15 years of age.
The details are kinda fuzzy now but not important.
My reaction to the wrestling duo was to sport a hard-on which threatened to burst through my jeans.  Hey, I was young then.  I was red-faced with embarrassment and headed to the barn.  There I adjusted my dick so that my zipper was no longer a tent.
What the hell was that all about?  No matter how embarrassed I was, it felt good.
Several years later I was in Boston in what was referred to as the “Combat Zone”.  There were strip clubs, and bars and bookstores.  I wandered into a bookstore and started perusing smaller magazines on a swivel rack.  The rack turned and there was Eric Stanton staring me in the face.  On the cover of “Burlesque Brawl” was a drawing of two women catfighting furiously.  I had the same reaction as I did at the farm.  But I surely bought the magazine.
(to be continued if there is any interest).

Yes...please do continue.  My obsession (?) seems to have started when I was a little younger than you, but it’s facinating to hear how others came around to the same interest, and then stayed with it for decades.

After reading among other things after reading Stanton, I just wanted more.  But there were precious few outlets for catfights.  I learned of the short movies featuring Betty Page among others who actually engaged in catfights.  Irving Klaw was a pioneer in this effort.  Betty was just beautiful and when she wrestled or had a catfight, her enthusiasm was much in evidence.  There are still outlets today where you know the girls are just doing it for the money and could care less about their intended audience.
I also acquainted myself with Napali Video a big bust wrestling magazine.  Bought lots of their videos at a good price.
Over time I just believe that we are born with an affinity for pretty girls wrestling and catfighting for our pleasure.  It seems to be a slant on the two female fantasy that many men share.  I was incredibly shy until my older years and just to have one girlfriend proved a difficult task, let alone two girlfriends.  But the fantasy persisted.  It takes a keen imagination to be a catfight fan because the real thing is such a rare occurrence.  It’s easier today to find what you want with the film industry.  Pornhub is a treasure with many older films available for viewing.  My favorite features Bella Rossi vs. Joylyn in a hairpulling titty twister.  It just rocks my boat.
I wish I had stopped being embarrassed about my fetish sooner.  It is just natural to me and you.
I was heartened by the number of replies.  It would be interesting to see other renditions of the catfight journey.

For me, it was the movie “From Russia with Love”;  the famous Gypsy Fight scene!
By today’s standards it may seem tame but at the time it was amazing!
To paraphrase a saying from an old friend, it took work back then to be a fan.  No internet, high prices for tapes and if we were lucky, the Wrestling magazines would feature a women’s match or two.  Thank you for posting this!!!!

Hi Catwriter,

Funny you should mention “Amazons!  You probably know this already but for the benefit of those who don’t:  Terrence Young, who directed “From Russia With Love” , also directed “Amazons”(aka “War Goddess”).
I remember the days where I would find out which movies had female fighting and get the theater to see them!  No internet, and not even vcr’s or tapes!  I know I sound old (because I am lol) but I think that when female fighting materials were less available, they were even more appreciated!  Not that I’m suggesting we go back to that, but it certainly brings back some great memories!!!
