Katy Perry ran into superstar
Kylie Minogue when in Melbourne they were accidentally booked in the same arena on the same night.
The two singers at first tried to solve the matter by working out which of the shows could easiest be postponed - however, when Katy suggested that Kylie should step back because probably more fans will want to see her (Katy) on a night in Melbourne Kylie was, as could be expected, not going to agree with her, and that was the point of time when things became hostile between them.
Provocatively laughing at Katy, Kylie half in jest brought up the option that she and Katy solved their disagreement in a fight.
Eventually, that suggestion, at the start not even being made seriously, became reality.
After Katy reacting angrily rather than amused at Kylie’s joke, Kylie challenged her to a kickboxing match.
Katy Perry and Kylie Minogue soon met in the ring for their fight.
The two women standing in front of each other in their boxing outfits and barefoot, Kylie seems frustrated at being six inches shorter than her opponent, barely coming up to Katy’s nose...but when Katy flexes her biceps in front of her Kylie feels confident to compare hers to Katy’s, and before the fight the ladies want to ask the audience in a vote who is the prettier one.
Katy suggests a dress ripping fight to take place before the kickboxing match; they will wear the same floor length dress in different colours, and each woman must try to rip her opponent’s dress to shreds until she is in her bra and panties while staying fully dressed herself. Kylie agrees to it and states she looks forward to sending Katy out of the ring half naked. Katy sneers at her and tells Kylie she should be so lucky but will probably be stripped quickly by Katy.
