Bear, I do remember that episode, but for the life of me, I can't remember why I saw it back then. I didn't watch her show, and I don't recall my wife watching it either. It may have been advertised on TV prior to it's airing, so I tuned in. I just don't know.
I think the audience reaction was interesting. But I do have to say, from my own personal experience when my wife found out I liked watching catfights, it was a pretty uncomfortable topic to be faced with. My wife didn't object to me watching girls fight because it degraded women, rather she was upset that I got turned on by something like that. I guess it made her feel inadequate. I explained to her that it had nothing to do with her at all, and I had enjoyed watching catfights since I was a kid, long before we ever met. We got through it, but from then on, I never mentioned it and just kept it to myself.
I thought one of the guys made a good point though about the women in the audience being hypocritical. A lot of the adult women I've known in my life seem to enjoy watching male strippers...Chippendales dancers, etc. I can't help but wonder how many women in that audience who complained about girls wrestling, had gone to or would go to see male strippers? We all have our turn on's in life.
