There is a message in general discussion lamenting the disappearance of wrestling film producers.  As noted within that
thread, times have changed and the ability to record real fights on smart phones  has perhaps negated demand for wrestling matches. 
In the interest of nostalgia  here are a couple of matches from one meeting that took places back in England during the mid 1990s.  I always thought women battled harder then watched by an appreciative crowd but meetings like this with an audience present  were abandoned by this producer a while before the company ceased entirely.

In the first match the magnificant  Danni takes on Rachael.   There was only ever going to be one winner but Rachael, recieving tremendous encouragement from her second, Yvette, put up an excellent  against the ultra aggressive Danni and keeps her cool even when Danni unsportingly goads her,'Come on . entertain me". Interesting to note Danni's explanation of her first dubious score as an arm bar.   In a fight with French girl Sophie it was Danni who complained at length about being choked.

In the second match Yvette faces Denise.  Not a hint of nastiness (which I liked to see) but this shows the entertainment that two ordinary, mature ladies ,who have just met for the first time, can produce when then they are 100 percent trying to win. Its woman against woman.

Great stuff, the two Phil's certainly found good keen fighters. What is also notable vs today is the large audience. I havent seen that many at a live UK event for some time. Maybe the easy aces on line and less need for excuses has cut down numbers - bad for promoters though

I'm always fascinated by the vintage fights/matches because I can't help wondering what the women are doing nowadays.  In the second match, Yvette was 40 at the time of the match.  Presenterfan indicates the match was from the 90's.  So, Yvette might be 60-70 now, maybe with grand kids.  Do you think her grand kids know what "meemaw" did when she was younger?  And Denise was 30, so she is probably approaching 60.  I just can't help but wonder about things like that when I see a vintage fight.

This is my favorite type of female fighting - Competitive topless wrestling. Happy these filmed years ago. I am afraid the good ole days of this kind of wrestling be filmed or even happening gone or close to gone.  Now days its mostly the sex crap.

I found this on the linked videos.  It reminded me of one that someone put up, I think on this forum a while ago.  It had at least one of them starting in a leather jacket.  One lady was in the ascendency until around halfway when she seemed to be slightly injured and the other lady took full advantage and was quite nasty, taunting at the end when the other was in pain and had given up.  I think it was possibly even in the same room as this but I think a different ref.  I think they were both English, possbibly London and they were topless.  Any ideas?
