I have recently been watching Outlander and saw a scene I would like to play out differently. There is a scene where Laoghaire MacKenzie (Played by Nell Hudson 5ft4in 30 yo) plans to shoot Claire Fraser (Played by Caitriona Balfe 5ft9in 41 yo) because she feels she stole her husband. Instead I see it a little differently. Laoghaire waits in the barn waiting for Claire to collect eggs. She confronts her there in the middle of the straw covered floor.
Laoghaire hands on her hips fiery temper flaring calls Claire a jezebel and a man stealing harlot. She then smacks Claire across the face. Claire, now finding the heat rising in her cheeks feels her own temper now rise and tells Laoghaire that he was her husband first and she has come home to claim what's hers. she then slaps her across the face in return.
Suddenly, Laoghaire takes a step back and runs at Claire, headbutting her in the gut and tackling her to the floor. Let the catfight begin! Who wins this battle of loves rivals? How and why?
