I never believed the story about this "fight" getting out of hand, because over the years, these rumors take on a life of their own.  HOWEVER, I just found this link where Lucy talked about it on the Dick Cavett Show during the 60's.

Many times I've looked for Therese Tirelli D'Amico in Godfather II but have not been able to find her.  Too bad they didn't have any grape stomping at Anthony Corleone's First Communion party on Lake Tahoe.

I am 63 and have been into women/girls fighting barefoot since I was lie 6 years old. Before the internet we had to get our women fighting fix any where we could. This episode of I Love Lucy was one of them. lol
