To work in the media, perhaps to have your own spot in front of TV cameras, you have to be competitive. When two women share a set it sometimes seems they are trying to show more cleavage or outdo each other by crossing legs and allowing skirts to ride up. This seems most prevelent between middle aged women. My observations are taken from television in the UK.
A lady noted for her good figure was given her own chat show. An assortment of female guest would appear over the series. As the guest entered the host got to her feet, open her arms and the ladies would embrace and have a tight hug, sometimes even swaying as they released. It may be wishful thinking that this interaction was competitive. It doesn't actually matter because, ladies with their breasts pushed together, sometimes rolling across each other's , long enough for them to judge how their breasts did against each other's. Not a conventiondal titfight but who knows, you may have just watch a boob contest without realising.
