Match just done and over as I type from the train back to London. Hopefully the spectators (who were wonderful!) enjoyed the action, even though they were rooting for their home town gal  It was 40 minutes of very intense wrestling! Due to an injury it was cut short, hopefully Traci is feeling better! Due to the shortened match we ended in a stalemate of nil/nil! We both fought hard and hope to have a rematch again some day!

I've been fortunate enough to see around 20 matches irl, this was without doubt the most intensely competitive match I have seen by some considerable margin!

Firstly well done to both ladies, how there were zero submissions is testament to 2 very determined women, some of the holds looked excrutiating from matside! The match was fought at a high pace and again credit to 2 great athletes.

The match was curtailed owing to the ladies crashing to the ground at such speed that no-one was able to break the fall as they partly fell off the mats and the concrete floor delivered a blow to the back of the head that had everyone in the room concerened for the well being of the women. Safety being paramount the match was halted at this point.

Happy to report that no concussion or anything other than a sore skull is the reult of the fall.

Again, congratulations and thanks to both ladies for putting on such a fantastic match for the guys that were there.

Very little in the way of conversation from the ladies, doubt either could afford to waste breath with the amount of effort they were putting in!

The ladies were both willing to continue the match, but head injurys are not to be takne lightly and it was agreed by all that the sensible thing to do would be to call a halt.

It would seem unfair under the circumstances to declare anything other than a draw.

Credit must also go to all who attended, everyone involved in the event contributed to the atmosphere.

Just a quick note of congratulations to both girls. As a first time attendee of such an event I have to say I was extremely sceptical that it would be as advertised but have to say I was extremely impressed with the whole thing. Well organised indeed. The match was riveting with both girls extremely well matched. Jtia edging it in terms of power and experience but Tracey more than holding her own in terms of determination and wrestling skills. Very intense action at times and to think it was still even after 40 minutes or so without a break says it all. An unfortunate bang to the head led to an early finish which was unfortunate but the right thing I think to stop at that point. A rematch may be difficult due to the geographical issues but would love to see it if it happens. I for one will be attending any future matches of either girl so extremely well done!!

That's a valid point, however the facility we use is hired and whereas previously there have been spare mats, yesterday there were no spare mats!

Good call stopping the fight. Having had multiple concussions, they're not anything to toy with.  Sometimes you feel just fine after, but you don't realize you're still concussed because you can't feel what you need to.  Sounds like it was an awesome fight till then.

It was an awesome contest between two beautiful talented ladies. tracy was a lot stronger than she looked, i thought jt would be too big for her. Pity the way it ended.
