The simple solution is to require an indicator that a story involves AI, and to what extent that is true.

AI created = used prompts to generate the entire story.
AI edited = used AI to fix grammar, spelling, and word choices.
AI prompted = used a prompt to generate story ideas and then wrote them manually.

As a requirement that is far from simple to enforce. Because of people like you who abused even clearly stated rules like the ones for Series. For those who don't know , any writer HumanPerson doesn't like who takes more than two posts to post a story who get reported as something that should moved to the Series section. Even though we stated only the catfight section was under those rules and the purpose was to remove stories who were being micro posted into existence. If you looked at that section you would know exactly who that rules was created about.

So if we made it a requirement versus the current suggestion to label your stories as AI written, we would have you and others who take that as their chance to artistically cleanse the stories section of everyone they don't like as a writer by reporting them as AI. Then after half the first page gets labelled as AI complete the cleansing by moving them to their own section. Oh sure some of the stuff we might report was before AI was a thing but a few eggs get broken to make this omelet right?

So no we aren't making anything like that a requirement. The only way we could detect AI stories is by using   an AI Hmm maybe Catposter the engagement AI for the site would be next to keep sections active like on facebook. This has possibilites...

https://megforrest.blogspot.com/ used to post stuff there. You will have to log into goggle to see it

The biggest fakes here are those posing as humans.

Death will not be a tragedy but an inconvenience for others.

I found it hard to disagree with what this guy is saying. I have yet to read a wonderful story and then later found out it was AI  I've read lots of average stories and thw3tfound out they were AI, though.

Yeah, requirement was the wrong word. Suggestion or recommendation would make more sense. There are some legitimately useful ways to employ AI to improve storytelling, but it seems like most of what gets posted is literally just the first response to the first prompt with no further effort.
