I admit, Kailani's analysis is spot on. I have no oil wrestling experience, but I am a very strong technical wrestler. Stamina? It's a struggle to build it, quite honestly, after losing so much of it over the last several years. In order to have any chance of winning, I will have to be very smart.
I am not sure what is off-limits or expected. I will follow my opponent's lead, understanding that could put me at a disadvantage but I have learned how to counter quite effectively in my years of wrestling.
To shake things up a little, I decide on attire that I think is a little different for this sort of thing. I'm feeling great and ready, but in about two minutes I will know how ready I am - or am not. I step into the oil pit, slipping, but catching myself before I go down. I get my legs under me and begin to analyze the footing. Obviously, this is not a stand-up type of match.
I take a deep breath and wait for Kailani to join me. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right? "Champion - Senior Oil Division" - I could wear that belt with pride.
