It's stunning how many people are just listing nonsensical matchups that aren't based on actual media (TV/movies). Did you read the original post? Do you understand English?

Rest in peace literacy  :(

I was gonna let this ride but the "literacy" and "actual media" and "do you understand English" cracks finally got a rise out of me.

The subject is "Media that should have had a catfight."

Media definition includes broadcasting, publishing and the internet.  Which means newspapers, magazines, books, radio, television, cinema and social media.

So postings such as AOC vs. MTG and Katie Couric vs. Kelly Ripa I took to be a logical expansion of the subject.  So I followed suit (being careful to also include a female catfight below my male catfight).  Yes, the originator of the subject specified females, but I surely can't be the only one on this catfight forum that wouldn't thoroughly enjoy seeing Pete Hegseth getting his ass kicked.

BTW, my favorite listing so far has been Joan Crawford vs. Mercedes McCambridge in Johnny Guitar.  Absolutely!

"I'm comin' up, Vienna!"  "I'll be waitin', Emma!"

I realize there are some repeats, but here we go:

Ginger vs. Mary Anne - Gilligan's Island
Daphne vs. Josei - Scooby Doo and Josie and the Pussycats
Jeannie vs. her Sister - I Dream of Jeannie (Pretty sure the tech at the time couldn't have handled this)
Lt. Uhura vs. Shahna - Star Trek Gamesters of Triskelon
Droxine vs. Vanna - Star Trek The Cloud Minders
Star Trek Mirror Universe - For a place where all the women everybody is doing everything to take power, there is only one catfight that I recall
Princess Leia vs. Oola - Star Wars return of the Jedi Jabba just happened to feed his favorite dancer to a Rancor the Day Leia showed up?
Penny vs. Priya - Big Bang theory.  Leonard is such a stud.  One hot girl after another.  Penny didn't seem to mind any except Priya who seemed to hate Penny Just as much.  How that one didn't end in a catfight in Leonard's living room I'll never know.

The original post literally states books, movies, tv, and specifies that it's something building up between TWO CHARACTERS that never played out. Patricia Heaton and Leah Remini aren't characters that were building up towards a catfight that never happened. Neither were Pete Hegseth and Paul Rieckhoff.

So, yes, it's a literacy issue and you clearly didn't bother reading the post that kicked this off.
