Halloween 2025 - Prelude
It’s been one year since the Blood Moon and despite my failure to stand triumphantly over the broken bodies of my coven sisters; I impressed the Dark Lord in other ways! Over the months that followed I lied, I cheated, I cursed and I destroyed all who would oppose me. And of course I impressed the Dark Lord with my other talents! Well when one is an outrageous slut, one should not be afraid of showing her skill.
So yes, I seduced the Dark Lord and won his favour.
The dear readers look upon me with a mixture of disgust and genuine hatred.
I snarl at them:
“Spare me your judgment, you insignificant prattling mortals!”.
I spit at the feet of the dear readers!
“You’re here for one thing and one thing only… to get a thrill out of watching beautiful women tear each other apart. At least when I ruin a bitches life or take a soul it’s in the pursuit of power. Tell me my dear readers! What’s your excuse?”
The dear readers look shamed, dumbfounded, meanwhile the smile of my face widens and I continue with my story. With the Dark Lord wrapped around my little finger, I was given the boon I craved. My time as a member of the Thirteen was finally over and I was reborn as a fully fledged Devil. This promotion came with a new job title as well, I am:
Kate the Serpents Charm!
Weren’t you the Devil in Heels? Our dear readers mutter curiously.
“The Devil in Heels is what my mortal enemies know me as. But my official job title is ‘Kate the Serpents Charm!” I coo as my voice fills with pride and a sinister smile consumes my face. But it does not last as suddenly my smile becomes a scowl and I sneer:
“However it’s not all home wrecking, lies and deliciously fun catfights! The paperwork associated with this role is quite literally hell! If I’m not out working in the mortal realm I’m studying “Faustian Pact: The Devils Contract 2025 Edition” and trust me… a page turner it’s not. Also let’s say I want to do something fun like starting a catfight with Bella. First I have to submit form S1 (known in the biz as a scratchy) for approval. If that gets approved I have to submit the required risk assessment in triplicate, then finally I have to get my expenses pre approved by HR. Those bitches in Hell HR are even more evil and tighter than the IR-Fucking-S! Take it from me, you will not get your expenses paid for that Gucci dress which got torn to shreds unless you have the expense pre-approved!”.
I pout and mutter…I loved that dress!
Ten minutes of pouting later…
“Well I guess I should tell you why I’m attending this mortal Stormbolt’s Halloween party. You see Halloween is a national holiday in Hell, so tonight is all about me. No soul quota’s to fill, no Faustian pacts to be signed! Tonight I can just be a girl and bare my claws for fun. Which is exactly what I intend to do and thankfully Stormbolt has assembled the most marvellous array of Slut’s, Whore’s and Shank's a girl like me could hope for. So tonight I’m sharpening my nails, dressing to kill and looking forward to ripping some hair out, clawing some faces and ruining some no doubt tasteless costumes. Well I did hear that notoriously bad dresser Lexibabe was to attend…so bad taste is a given! Oh and to make it fair…The Dark Lord has kindly taken away my power for the night, however I won’t totally lose my power until I arrive at the party. Which suits me fine…as what’s the point of catfighting if one is omnipotent? When I catfight I crave tears, I need drama and fuck yes! I want to scratch and be scratched! Yes, I want to be scratched! For me the risk and danger of a catfight is intoxicating, hmm it’s such a thrill. Besides a catfight always puts me in the mood for a good hard soul sucking fuck afterwards!”
The dear readers ears perk up after my last comment!
SNAP…
I snap my fingers and blue lightning strikes me and in a flash of an eye i’m changed into my costume for the party. Which honestly is less of a costume and more of my real form. But as a playful smile emerges across my face…
I give the dear readers a playful twirl and many a dear readers jaw hits the floor and even more hurriedly take their heart medication.
However with a final glance in the mirror complete, I insert my AirPods and flap my wings and take off into the night sky heading south. 30 minutes later I’m flying over the night sky of London. As I look down at the city below I reminisce about fires and plagues…good times. Finally with the Palace of Westminster in view I take a sharp right and heads towards the U.S.
Giggling dear readers mutter:
Someone get this devil a compass! Left Kate, it’s left at London. You’re heading East you numnut!
As for me…I miss the giggling dear reader’s warning about my wrong turn. I’m in my own little world I listen to Mariah Carey and sing “All I Want for Christmas Is You”.
