It will be a hell of a fight for sure
Neither Alexia nor I are backing down. We're both keeping the trash talking going not only because we enjoy insulting each other but also to keep the poll up front so everyone can see it. Like I said before I don't really know who will win but we'll both know we've been in a fight. Yesterday, I had gained a lead, today Alexia is fighting back. It's going to be back and forth. We both enjoy going back and forth and participating.
Junkee you said it will be a hell of a fight. Alexia in an earlier post said it's funny how everyone assumes she's bigger then me. You have alot of fight experience, Junkee. In your opinion does the bigger person always win. Doesn't speed and knowledge of fighting play a part in determining who will win the fight ?
Maybe I should sell tickets to this cyberfight. Might allow me to give up my day job.
Lisa, you asked Junkee but let me give my point of view on what is importance to win a fight in order of importance. This ranking assumes the fighters are not too far off in size but further apart than some might think:
1. Belief you can win. This doesn't mean being cocky and sure of victory but the solid belief that you are capable of winning and will win.
2. Aggression. This is especially true in a catfight. The more aggressive one will usually have her foe on the defensive more often than not.
3. Experience and anticipation. I put these two together because they usually go hand in hand. Experience is different than knowledge and is more important in my eyes. Experience builds up knowledge and allows you to use it. Your body gets trained to feel what your foe is doing. You don't have to think about what to do next but do it "instinctively". Muscle memory is very important in any sport. Being able to anticipate also comes with experience. It is thinking two or three moves ahead so your rival always feels she is a step or two behind, which she is. Knowledge allows you to know what to do, experience and anticipation allow you to do it.
4. Speed and stamina. This allows you to just move faster and get to your foe before she gets to you. Stamina means you get relatively faster and faster as the fight goes on.
5. Strength. Just brute strength is not all it is cracked up to be. All other things being equal it is important. More important than raw strength is knowing how to use your strength and muscles. Training athletes in sports know how to use their muscles, body builders usually don't as their training is more resistance training. Still if one woman is much stronger than the other then this rises in importance.
6. Size. A determined, aggressive, knowledgeable fighter can easily overcome a woman 30 pounds or more than her. If the extra weight is also flab making the other woman slow and with no stamina the weight difference can be even larger.
Now where do you and Alexia stand in these categories? I would say both are high in 1 and 2. As for the rest everyone can make up his/her mind. We will find out in the cyberfight, won't we?
What I said above is for "catfights". For street brawling it is usually whoever gets in the first good punch or kick. Street brawls usually don't last very long - ht first and hit often.
