A solution to this is to award points to those that post to add to the votes.  The only posts that would count would be regarding the match, not thanking people for voting for you or arguing with non participants in the match.  If Kitana posts 5 times a constructive match post she gets what would be like 5 bonus votes, if Eva does 6 then she would get 6 bonus votes, Carmen 3 posts then she only gets 3 bonus votes.  I think that would make polls more enjoyable and less controversial.  I have seen some polls where the participants never post once and unless it is about celebrity matches, it is pointless
