checkign people out
« on: November 09, 2015, 04:55:59 PM »
In a restaurant, on the sidewalk, in a store or anywhere I sometimes see another woman who looks fit or, usually, tough, and I find myself wondering: 'Could I take her?'. It is interesting, intriguing, and fun, for me to do this, and usually is followed by thinking of the possibility of telling the person about my interests and asking if she  would like to go someplace public and talk about it for a bit. For me, anyway, there is not fantasy scenario in mind of 'what would happen if I did'...just evaluating her as a potential opponent.

Yeah, did it one time, and the person let me know with a look that I was less than safe and sane and moved away without further answer. But that was one individual, if done with several people someone would say yes.

My question, however, is whether guys know we do this, and how widespread is it. I have asked two friends and they both said they do it...see the random stranger and wonder, but those people were already people who wrestled in one case, did judo in the other. I doubt many 'civilians' would do it.

Also, do guys do this? my guess is not. I don't know why I feel they wouldn't.

Also let me say this is not about me looking around in crowds for some stranger who looks like they would be good grappling or in any sort of contest- just seeing a person by happenstance who seems to fit and be in your range (or for me a bit beyond me) and wondering.

I sat down to dinner with a woman I had just dated once before.  As we sat there was a couple who was getting ready to leave. He was young, say in his early 20s as opposed to my 30's... I felt as if both couples looked enough to be twins in some respects. He was dressed nice in business slacks and very nice shirt. the catch was he had a brand new pair of boots he was wearing that were squared off at the toes. I felt that he was one of those that like to fight as he wearing those boots were out of fashion. I wanted to ask him where he got the boots.  Then I would have said that those boots were good for kicking someone in a fight.... I do not know why I did not talk to him. I either was afraid that he would take me up on my offer, and I would lose.  I often think of that night wondering what would have happened. In a story idea I have is that we would have fought, then the two women would have deceided to fight each other.  So yes irl I do look at men and wonder if I can beat them in a boxing ring or fist fight.....

interesting thought you brought up here, ripher. That s really something I consider worth trying next time. I mean in terms of thinking bout this couple fight your thought implied. I am truly curious If I will be catching myself with these thoughts.
I wish each and every day would start with a catfight in my flat

As I mentioned to Kate in the chatroom her in the Uk we have a lot of young Eastern European women coming over for work, usually nicknamed " Polish blondes". They are usually blonde and ofen tall and athletic looking, demonsrated by wearing tight jeans at work. They seem fitter than the equivalent english young woman on average , maybe because  years of Communism made sports a bigger cultural thing for women than in UK nowadays. As often with fit people they carry a " physical attitude" even though Ive never seen one aggresive in public.
So if Kate did her checking out her she may get a response.

Mind youthe  best  wrestlers at Monica's London events are Eastern European blondes, some of whom live here, so Kate might get more of a fight from her checking out than she expected LOL

I think the drama between two women is exciting. It's generally better than the fight.

It definitely brings a certain aura to a room.

thanks to all who have posted do far. What this shows is what you learn the first 2 minutes at this site if you didn't already know it- there is a wide variety of interests and tastes, to each their own.

But it interesting that there is some bit of evidence, based on my RL experience and karens' post, that women may do this more than men. If so, I have  no idea of why; other than guys may be brough up to fear not being over on the extreme side of straaight.

ripher- I wish you have acted on your thoughts about that couple. I wished I had acted on more than one woman I wondered about.
We lose a lot of the richness and fun "IRL" offers when we don't go for it!

agree. I love it, too if the sizzling rivalry between two women ist perceptible and a fight would be inevitable if circumstances would allow it, such as not bein in the office or another professional surrounding

A repost but a good example of drama in a professional setting.
