liking the last myself. but I've started writing the story itself now. still open to some last minute changes, but think I have my list of trials done. should have a chunk posting soon, though I might have the second half or so as an Amazon book thing after all these years

Hmmm.  Whatever happens, don't forget the sword fights.  I mean, this might sound like an obvious suggestion but getting good sword fights down is what will make this an epic 'sword and sandal' mythological piece.  Then, the conventional catfighting can occur after blades (and words) have failed.

For reference, I'm reminded of my commission awhile back featuring Red Sonja.
