Evangeline Lilly vs Candace Bailey
Evangeline Lilly beat Jennifer Morrison and now had to fight the ability to not have a let down. It was common in these tournaments that one fight could change everything. Evangeline was well aware of how brutal her fight with Morrison was, she was aware how exhilarating it was to beat the oen woman no one thought she could. She was also aware if she didn’t win it all then who the hell would care.
Candace bailey was taken lightly and decided to turn it up a notch and showed how skilled she was masterfully taking apart Summer Glau.
The fight began with Lilly refusing to go in the pocket witih Candace. Popping in for a attempted take down but getting out before Candace could open her offence up. The secret to beating Candace was grappling. Sara Underwood proved that on their show
Candace wasn’t able to hit her more advanced techniques as Lilly either stayed back or stepped in for a takedown when she saw preparation for it. After five minutes of very technical fighting Candace was losing her patience and went for a jumping round house. Lilly backed away and clipped the back of the leg when Candace landed.
From there it was a complete breakdown of Candace Baileys leg with kicks, knees, stretches and ending with a knee bar submission.
Evangeline Lilly was going onto the finals to fight either AJ Cook or Michelle Borth
AJ Cook vs Michelle Borth
For AJ Cook this was a speed bump. She was the woman who beat the unbeatable, she fought with every fibre and proved she was better than America Olivo. Minka Kelly was outmatched and so unmotivated it didn’t matter, Brittany Daniel was still fighting like it was all about who was more vicious and ended up bloody. Here now across from Michelle Borth she was ready to go and fight Evangeline Lilly.
Michelle could not get respect, no matter what she wasn’t getting it. Destroy Mircea Monroe in seconds, who cared. Go to war with Sarah Carter and then ‘she’ll get you in the rematch’ Beat an a-lister and it was ‘did you see Lilly vs Morrison?’ She was there between the two and knew she was the most well rounded not either of those two overrated fluffs. Today when she beat AJ Cook she’d legitimately prove it once and for all. She was someone worth talking about.

AJ smiled and hit Michellle with a hard right but Borth didn’t got down and hit her own all or nothing right. Michelle then twisted around turning her back and drove her heel up between AJ’s legs.
Michelle fell back and found her ass on the back of AJ’’s head. She grabbed AJ’s arms and put her weight down for a reverse pedigree knocking AJ out and smashing her face. Michelle Borth was onto the finals to face Evangeline Lilly
